Can't test it myself since this feature has a problem on my system
(using the official OOo French package however).
Perhaps someone from OOo (or Sun) could answer.

Try Help|Registration. Note: this is also where you are sent for the
initial registration when you first install the program.
It's not the same survey.

No I don't. I will ask around though and see what I can dig up.
The survey you get directed to from Help > Registration in
OpenOffice.org 2.3 (the version I am testing at the moment) takes you to
http://www.openoffice.org/welcome/registration20.html which quickly
redirects to a current survey (which is actually a bit longer than the
one the original poster was commenting on about it being too long). How
the old survey was dug up.. no idea.
