My installation of OOo (latest rev) has recently started crashing when
editing Word DOCs with tracked changes -- often lots of changes.
Turning off changes sometimes helps, but often once the document starts
destabilizing Writer, it's done for. I have to open and finish editing it
in MSFT Word.
Is this a known problem? Any memory or other tweaks that right help,
short of not using tracked changes?
Speaking of which, the UI for managing tracked changes in Writer could use
improvement. On a complex document with lots of changes, it's pretty much
impossible to accept/reject changes one by one -- unless I'm overlooking
something.
In Word, you simply right-click the change to Accept or Reject. Am I
missing something obvious in OOo?
