Two non-related questions: ONE: my OO writer screen shows in upper-right corner (under the choices "_ [] X") a link, which is captioned 'Click here for available OO update'.
When doing so, it takes me to this link URL: http://update.services.openoffice.org/ooo/221.html Which effectively shows no 'available update', but allows one to spend time seeking in vain for such an update... I am running v2.2.0, and I see v.2.2.1 is available, so DO I have to download the entire v.2.2.1 for an 'update' to be effected? Seems inefficient... TWO: In using WRITER, I seem to no longer have the function of auto-spelling check, and can't find where it could be re-activated... Is there a link between my ISSUE ONE and ISSUE TWO? Ie: if I download v.2.2.1 and install it, would that solve/restore the auto-spelling function? Man (or woman!) I hope you can answer this soon enough...
