If you want to create a document in the MS Word format, create the
file. The first time you save the file, the Save as window opens. Change
the file type from OpenDocument Text (.odt) to
Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc). Enter the file name and click Save.
Of if you have already saved the file as an OpenDocument Text (.odt)
file, use File > Save As to open this same window. Change the File Type as
I have suggested and click Save. (The name of the file will already be
listed.)
