As far as I know that will only work if there is something to apply that style to. That would mean I either insert a semantically superfluous element after all tables in my text with such a style. Or I start defining adapted styles for all "normal" styles that might follow tables. Both do not appeal to my feeling for esthetics or correctness, but if no other solution is available that's what I'll do. Sorry if this sounds a bit negative, that's not my intent.
