[users] Version 1.4.0.0 of OpenOffice.org Spell check doesn't work.

I am using version 1.4.0.0 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is spell check does
not see spelling mistakes and & closes as if the corrections are made.
 
I had the older version files that worked and some one updated to the new
files that doesn't work.
 
Can you help.
