I am trying to convert a large 2mb, 2600 record MS Access file to
OpenOffice, and am unable to find any simple way to do it. I've not yet
had a problem with Writer or Calc, just Base.
I cannot edit the file.
What I have read indicates something about MySQL DB - whatever that is -
but does not say how I can open AND EDIT an access file. Can I import
the data and then edit it in Base? My feeling, and fear, is that this
is not going to be an easy program to use.
I've read the FAQ "cannot edit a newly created table." It made no sense
to me, as I am opening a file, not creating a file.
Is Base of of those programs where you have to be a programmer to use?
I am using XP, sp2.
