Hi, I'm making my resume in Writer and I'm wondering how to make better Horizontal lines. Right now I go to Insert >> Horizontal Ruler..., which provides either "Plain" or what looks like bitmaps for lines. I don't like this. The Plain one is double lined and isn't easy to move around in the document. It must be for compatibility with HTML. It is really ugly so I can't use that one. As for the horizontal lines that appear to be bitmaps, they're ugly too. They're not very professional looking. They use fancy fading and coloring. These too are difficult to move around in the document as they don't lock to any sort of grid. It's very hard to place them.
Is there a better way to create horizontal lines in my document for my resume? They need to be black (preferably) and I would expect them to clamp to lines in the document so they're easy to place in the document. I need lines that look professional enough for a resume. Thanks.
