is immoral.
If the OP bought that old version from someone who said it was the
latest, then yes that was false pretense and that does not have to
be a religious belief. Is this the false pretense you are talking
about?

The vendor (according to the only account we possess) lied. There are
some of us funny old religious weirdos out there who actually believe
that lying is a sin. I realize that in this age of rhythm-type music and
vo-dee-o-do, with your rumble seats and raccoon coats, that seems
terribly old-fashioned, but it's the way my old granny raised me, and
I'm stuck with it.
