[users] won't download properly

I had openoffice.2.2 which I tried to delete to download 3.2. It won't let me 
delete it and I can't download Openoffice 3.2. I'm stuck somewhere in the 
middle and it's so frustrating. Can you help. I'm a beginner so don't 
understand all the lingo.
