As others have responded; you can indeed use OpenOffice with Vista, and also install and use MS Office 2003 as well. One additional word of advise: be sure to check all of the documents/spreadsheets etc., that you created with your trial version of Office 2007 to see if they have the 'x' extention (i.e., .docx, .xlsx, etc). If they do, you will have will not be able to open those files in OpenOffice (yet). And you will not be able to open them in Office 2003 without a converter. You can install the MS Office Compatibility Pack to do this, see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923505 You'll then need to save all of those 'x' files as standard MS Office files (.doc, .xls etc). *Then* you can use them both in MS Office 2003 and OpenOffice. Disclaimer: I've not tried this myself as I primarily use linux and only open Windows/MS Office for testing and/or support. cc'd to unsubscribed: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- This is a mailing list which exists to support users of OpenOffice.org All answers are given by other users who volunteer their time.
