Appreciate if someone can share with me whether Open Office would
further develop its DataPilot functionality to another level such as
1) DataPilot Chart (similar to the functionality of PivotChart in
Excel); and
2) Datamining features (similar or even better that the current
PivotTable in Excel has).
We are continuously improving DataPilot functionality (version 2.3 has
the GETPIVOTDATA function, for example), but we have to balance it with
work on other areas. I gave a talk on the subject at OOoCon last week,

What datamining features from Excel are you missing?
