Hi,

I'm using OpenOffice.org 2.3.0 on Fedora Core 6. I have been experiencing a weird problem with Calc from quite some time. On a spreadsheet cell, I type oct 2, 07 and save the document. As soon as I save the document, the date is displayed as oct 1, 07 on the cell. When I place the cursor on the cell, the date displayed on the formula bar is oct 2, 07. I have formatted the entire column Dec 31, 99 for which the format code is MMM D, YY. The date displayed on the cell is incorrect. The date displayed on the formula bar is correct.

How can I get the date to display properly on the cell?

In Tools>Options>OpenOffice.org>Calc>Calculate>Date the setting is 12/30/1899(default). I uninstalled the OO package that came with FC6 and downloaded and installed a fresh copy from openoffice.org in an attempt to resolve this. But it didn't help. I'm using 24 hour clock type.

Any help would be appreciated.
