Hi,
I do not have Microsoft Office on my computer so am I not able to get this facility to open pps? A friend in USA gets it but I use Googlemail for my pps and wonder if this is just a different way of
opening pps?
Would appreciate a reply.

OpenOffice can read and write PowerPoint presentations. OpenOffice is
an office suite, that's an excellent alternative to MS Office. It has
excellent support for MS Office files, other than the latest OOXML
formats. It also supports the ISO ODF file formats, which MS refuses to
support. OpenOffice is a free download from www.openoffice.org
BTW, you might also suggest to your friend, that they also install
OpenOffice.
