OpenOffice.org is capable of opening most Microsoft .doc files. However, as Microsoft has never actually documented how their files work, OpenOffice uses what you might consider to be a "very good guess" as to what any particular MS-formatted document is supposed to look like. Most of the time it's pretty close; a lot of the time it's "perfect". Occasionally, it isn't. If you absolutely require 100% compatibility with Microsoft Office, your only real option is to purchase Microsoft Office. -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Melville Sask ~ http://www.melvilletheatre.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
