Install Windows XPP *first*, shrink the partition down to something reasonable (say 10-20GB - or whatever you think you will use) using fdisk, *then* install Ubuntu. Some folks suggest that you install windows using FAT32, but I've systems installed with both FAT32 and NTFS and have no problems at all & R/W between either. For NTFS on the windows side I use: http://www.fs-driver.org/ You can install OOo on both without any problem. Ubuntu 7.04 will come with an Ubuntui'zed verson of 2.2, Ubuntu 7.10 (beta) will come with and Ubuntu'ized version of 2.3. 7.10 is about to be released later this month, so I'd recommend just taking the plunge and install 7.10 - there are many things broken in the 7.04 version of OOo (and Evolution, and...) that are fixed in 7.10 (Gutsy). If you'd like to install the official OOo, then use these instructions: http://www.8daysaweek.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=759 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
