HI,

Got an email from Paolo - The wiki looks like a formal place that should not be updated by mere users...

Is it a Bazaar or a Cathedral? That is the question inside the community of late isn't it. So far, IMO, the guys in the black robes are winning. So sad.

@Paolo - read down, I created a page for you to use. Don't worry about what you add there, read the comment at the bottom of the page - What you add is subject to ruthless editing.

I've made the following changes and additions to the wiki.

Edits:
Added link to new page /Reports

New pages:

Use general information about both the report wizard and report builder
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Base/Reports/

Page to document Report Builder functions
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Base/Reports/Functions

Header page for example reports
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Base/Reports/Examples/

http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Base/Reports/Examples/SRB
Header page for SRB specific reports

Page for use by Paolo / Arial and who ever else per the current email exchange
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Base/Reports/Examples/SRB/sum_a_column

Paolo, I added three lines without the comments in parenthesis.

Data Model
( cover what your data looks like - just describe your tables and the query you want to use to build the report )

Report layout
( Describe the report you want to design )

Functions used
( Here is where you can go over the issues about using the functions to get what you want )

I'm sure Arial and or others will come along and help you.

Drew
