Hi, I have lost contact with my Open Office files - am unable to open a blank document screen or to download any of my existing files. It has been very slow of late, a double click on the o-o icon won't work, I've had to right click, then click again on Open. Now when I do tht the hourglass and arrow appear but then disappear. I've tried going in through My Documents, and through trying to download attachments to Outlook express messages, and to go through the start file and All Programs to Open Office. I can get into my WORD documents through ALl Programs, but not to O-O.
I've been using Open Office since about March, and have had to convert a lot of documents into WORD to send them as attachments to people who can't download o.o. So I'm working with a mixture, and saving two copies of a great many of my documents. Could this be the source of the trouble. Frustrated!
