You have a file association problem. It has nothing to do with
OpenOffice.org nor MS Office. Directions for fixing this problem is found
in Help in OpenOffice.org. Use the F1 key to open Help. Click the Index
tab. Enter
file association
in the Search box. Use the Enter key to enter it. The right side of the
window will tell you what to do. One added item. Copy the instructions
down as the first step tells you to close OOo and its Quickstarter in the
System tray (next to the computer clock).
