Win XP, OOo 2.3
How would I get CD to open in the OOo equivalents?
I'm wondering if this has to do with installation selections, as
far as what files to open. I did not select MS b/c I thought not
selecting any was the way to have all 3 selections as default. I
wasn't to clear on this part.
There may be a way to make OpenOffice the default program to open
these up; i'm not familiar enough with Windows to be able to tell you
that. There are at least two other ways to get these files properly
open:
1) Go to the CD in Explorer, right click the file in question. From
the contextual menu that pops up, choose "Open With" ->. OpenOffice
should be in that list, if the installation completed properly.
2) Start up the proper program [Writer or Impress, depending on which
file you want opened], then click the menu File -> Open ... and
choose the file.
