Could you please advise how I might download open office other than from
the internet.

I have email and internet at work but not at home (xp version).

I have windows xp and ms office at work but would like to try Open
Office.

How could I down load to a cd or usb stick here at the office and carry
it home to down load.

I am not particularly computer literate (as you can see by this
request).

Yes, you can copy OpenOffice to a CD or USB drive to bring it home. When you download the installer from www.openoffice.org, you are asked where you want to save the file. You can either download directly to the USB drive or to someplace such as "My Documents and then copy to the CD or USB drive from there. Once you have it at home, just double click on the installer file to install.

If you have any further questions, please reply to the list ([email protected]) and not directly to me.
