    You have not explained why you could not access your documents using 
OpenOffice.org (OOo). How did you try to do this? Did you open OOo first 
and then used File > Open to browse to a document and open it? If you 
received an error message when trying to open OOo, what was it? Without 
more information, it is hard to tell you what to do.
    You could double click the installation icon on the desktop and 
reintall OOo. This would start the installation process. If this process 
completes successfully, you should have OOo installed again. Perhaps then 
you could access these documents.
