Hi there,
I have downloaded OpenOffice.org 2.2, but it does not allow me to install it on
my MacBook using OS X version 10.4.10.
The message on the screen says, "OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X cannot be started,
because the X11 software is not installed. Please install Apple X11 first from
the Mac OS X install DVD."
I have tried to install X11 from Apple website, but it suggested that my system
does not require it. I do not have my Mac Install CD with me, so I have not
concluded that that's entirely impossible. But I thought the X11 file on
Apple's website is the same. Isn't it?
Any suggestions or insights would be much appreciated.
