Function Description Issue
Compatibility with SELinux in enforcing mode OOo 2.3.0 is incompatible
with SELinux in enforcing mode: OOo won't start unless SELinux is (or
gets) disabled.
A possible workaround is putting SELinux in permissive mode by issuing
(as root) the command
# setenforce 0
A binary patch is being prepared and will be announced a soon as possible.

yeh, but you don't need to disable SELinux. Joe Smith actually hit the
nail on the head. It was just a matter of looking in the right log file
to see what was actually transpiring. The log actually will point you in
the right direction allowing you to fix the issue. In my case it was
related to 1 specific file that needed to be fixed.
Then please comment/add to the bug report.

Actually reading all the way through, the fix I used is stated there.
The difference is it appears that for some this showed up right away, I
on the other hand was using OOo 2.3.0 since a couple of weeks after
release. I did not have trouble with it until I had disabled SELinux to
see if that was causing a problem with my printer. When I ruled out
SELinux I re enabled it and rebooted. The system complained on the boot
and SELinux came up with a note to reboot with a relabel hard drives
request. It was then that I ran into the problem. If you think that my
situation is that much different I will definitely add to the bug
report, but as I've never done that before, do I need to register? And
where or how? And where do I go to add to the existing file?
