Similar questions have been asked before, but not clearly answered.

How can you search for, and then replace all the paragraph marks in a
selection. For example with line ends?

There's a bit in auto formating about stringing together single line
paragraphs (I think), but
that's not the right thing for cut'n'pasted code fragments.

Then there's the regular expression for a paragraph end, but this is a
context search, not the paragraph end itself, so doesn't seem to allow
you to replace it.

Cut'n'paste of code fragments is such a common thing to want to do,
and then often you
to replace the copied paragraph marks with hard line ends and change
font without
changing the layout.
