I am a long time user of Open Office on W2K where it worked flawlessly.
I recently purchased a Windows Vista laptop.
I have downloaded & installed OO 2.3 at least 6 times. Every time I have
been unable to use Open Office & have deleted it again. Whenever I try &
open the Writer, it opens a window stating- Open Office Recovery -
Recovering untitled1 "Not recovered yet", but does NOT show a button
"Start Recovery".
I am unable to close this window- I can only reduce it to the task
bar.-- Nor can I open or use other sub programs of Open Office.
I thought at first this might be due to a Virus, or similar, but
apparently not!
Would greatly appreciate help with this problem.
