OpenOffice.org has been free ever since it started all those years ago.
It will be free as long as the public wants the open source project to
continue.
I have used OpenOffice.org since its early days, plus I have used Oxygen
Office Pro.
for the past year or so. Oxygen Office is OOo but with some stuff added,
plus it is free as well.
What I hate is the people/companies that add some little thing to OOo and
then sell it
bit $40-$100. Mostly you get some support for that money.
BUT, if you want a really good/great office suite, stick with OpenOffice.org
(or the additionial system of Oxygen Office). I have to keep M$ Office 2003
on
hand for work, but I use it only once a month or so. Then it is used for
the
M$ crap that we would not want OOo or any other suite to have to deal with.

How much will this actually cost per month ? Or is it free for life ?
Open Office seems like a great product and I would like to know?
OpenOffice.org is completely free. I have been using it since version 1.
