It could be either your download is being interrupted (common on dial
up) or Windows is claiming it's corrupted, when it's not.  How big are
the files you downloaded?  They should be about 106 MB or 119 MB,
depending on whether it includes Java.  If the sizes appear correct, you
can use md5sums to verify the integrity of the file, by following the
instructions provided here.

If you cannot successfully download OpenOffice, you may ask someone with
broadband internet access to do so or buy a CD from a vendor.
