Wouldn't it be easier to just put a reference in the other sheets to the
cell on the data entry sheet and then the data will automatically be
updated.

1) Write a macro to copy the data from one to the other.
2) Use Base to create a table. Now link that table as a named range to
both ( or as many as you need ) spreadsheets. Enter the data once into
the Base table and open the two spread sheets, update the data range -
you can make this automatic ( or nearly so ) by not actually saving
the data in the sheets.
