I recentlty setup a MySql on a Unix/Freebsd server and in trying to connect
with Oo it crashes.
System info:
Oo 2.3 on a WindowsXp pro w/sp2 installed
ODBC Driver MySql 5.1 driver
Mysql 5.1.22 on a Freebsd 6.1 box
I am able to connect and link the tables fine- however when I try to open a
table view it Oo crashes. This also occurs whenever I try to build a form or
query.
Oo 2.3 works fine using a different server with MySql 3.1 just not the one
with MySql5.1
I tested MSAccess against the Mysql5.1 and it worked fine.
Is there a compatabilty problem between Oo 2.3 and MySql5.1 ??
I spent some time in the docs/boards and couldn't find and mentioned
problems.
