While I can see that those could be abusive, when compared to the abuse
we could heap on each other by taking up tire irons rather than words,
I'd much prefer the words. Venting is a healthy activity, so long as
you don't dwell in it.

I understand that this is a popular notion, "venting". But there is a
profound difference between venting with ... communicating, sharing oneself
constructively ... and venting at.

We possess the capacity to come face to face with ourselves and to resolve
our own feelings; this is genuinely healthful ... the process itself.

Our feelings originate within us, we create them, we own them, they are
ours. No one else creates them. What we do with them is ours alone. Whenever
we act without compassion toward another, we act equally without compassion
toward ourselves. Really!!!

What I'm really asking here is that we all seek out the best in ourselves.
Why choose any other course?

Best,
Elchanan
