I have "successfully installed" Open Office, the icon is on the desktop, the
file folder rests below. But to unpack I have this static window with choices
disallowed and only cancel. No hourglass, just perpetual hold after I request
to "Unpack". What to do here. I can't even click on "cancel". It is all
frozen up. I have shut down and restarted and tried again, now I have a
desktop populated with all the O.O. icons, folders, systems, etc. It was
easier with the earlier version (which is installed on my computer.) I just
wanted my mother's computer to use Open Office, since I loved it. HELP? -Amy
