More-or-less, yes.  OpenOffice does some things differently that Microsoft
Office because it is a different program.  But yes.  OpenOffice is a word
processor, spreadsheet, database, presentation program and a few other
miscellaneous things as well.

Download your free copy and use it as much and as long as you wish.  There is
no catch, nobody will ever send you a bill.  OpenOffice is Free Software.
