If I download and use Open Office will I have any conflicts with my
Microsoft XP operating system and MS Office 2003?

Are there any specific advantages for me as a small business user in using
Open Office. I wish to grow my business. In the long term I do not want to devote too much of my time to my systems and IT therefore need a stable and well supported platform. Obviously cost and costing and keeping them as low
as I can is an important aspect to me.

I wish to embrace as much new technology and office automation along with
other systems (electronic) as I can as I develop my business. There are
many products in the market place I can call upon, which have probably been
written to run on Microsoft platform initially. Would the running of Open
Office give me or create problems for me?

Kind Regards
