Convert?

You can use MS Office 2003 and earlier file with OOo without conversion.
If you save your MS Office files in the OpenOffice.org's default ODF file formats, then you need the Microsoft filter that was created to allow MS Office to read
and write ODF files.

The PDF form is not editable by either MS or OOo, as of yet. The files read
by OOo can be saved/exported in the PDF format within the program itself,
but you need a external printer/driver for MS Office to do the same. I use
both the export function as well as using the Adobe Acrobat PDF "printer" software.

Did that help??
