I just received 4 Powerpoint presentations, 20 slides each, for a lab
next week. The author has added an annoying, time consuming slide
transition to each slide. On some of them, the paragraphs appear one
after the other. So I'm reading them in Edit mode. Is there any way to
cancel slide transitions, so that I can simply view the slides one by
one without resorting to Edit mode.

And no, I'm in no position to criticize the author now. I will make a
suggestion at the end of the semester.

Thanks in advance.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
