Dear Sirs I have been using Star Office and more recently Openoffice for already some years. Any time that a new version is released I download it and use it.
Recently I instaled the 2.3 version, which I consider superb, very fast and opening anu Office file without problems, which was not the cas on previous version, speciallly editing a Power Point Presentation. As soon I received on my computer the indication of the uprgrade possibility to the version 2.3.1 I downloaded it. Unfortunatly I stared having probelms with my computer on the starting, taking a long time. When opening any openoffice file it took an eternity and yesterday I had problems with my computer while initializing : it opended a blue page indicating problems with a Kernel. Conclusion : problems with the windows operating system that obliged to repair it. One observation I place is that I downloaded the portugeus language package that I believe was inteded for the 2.3 version on the 2.3.1 one. I clened the 2.3.1 version and am instaling the 2.3 one, that was working perfectly. Best regards Francisco Granadeiro
