Assuming you are using Windows and that you have actually *installed* the software and not merely downloaded it then try Start>All Programs>OpenOffice just like you would with any other software you install. If you have merely downloaded the software, click the "Installation Instructions" link on the download page and read what it says. The page I mean is the one you get to after clicking the big green "Get OpenOffice.org" button on the home page (www.openoffice.org). Basically OpenOffice works just like 99.99% of Windows software that you acquire over the internet: you download a file and then run it.
