Are you running OpenOffice?
It sounds to me as if you have a new Vista machine with a trial copy of
Microsoft Office 2007. The trial copy allows only 25 uses or so before
it demands you buy a licence and have to pay.
If you have a fast internet connection, can is suggest to go onto
www.openoffice.org and download the free OpenOffice from there. I am
using openoffice on Vista and it works very well.
