With other programs, when I click on the name of a file, it
automatically opens the program associated with the extension. Widh
OpenOffice, the documents are filed with the extension .odt, but Windows
doesn't know what program to use. Probably the Registry should be
modified. (It seems strange that this was not done by the installation
of OpenOffice itself.)
Any suggestions? Please be very specific, as I would not want to wind up
with the computer being only a doorstop! <grin>
