Chuck,

you have not purchased OpenOffice from openoffice.org or anybody
officially connected to this address.

The OpenOffice office suite can be downloaded for free from the
openoffice.org website. It is absolutely legal to sell copies of
OpenOffice on CD and/or bundled with other services: many resellers do
it, but if you want a refund you must ask for it to who actually sold
a copy to you.

It is also possible to have free technical support, but nothing else,
from unpaid volunteers by writing to, or subscribing, the
[email protected] address. Please note, however, that this is a
mailing list with permanent, public web archives, so everything you
write to this address remains visible to every Internet user.

Best Regards,
                   Marco
