If you've double clicked on the downloaded file, there should be a folder on your desktop, containing the various installation files. You should have also been taken through a series of panels for the installation process. If you have completed that, there should be an OpenOffice folder and icons in your Start menu. Use those icons to start the applications. If you still have problems, feel free to respond with more information or questions.
