I assume OpenOffice is working OK, but you don't know where you saved those files. You can use the Windows search function to locate the files. The search function can be found in your Start menu. You'll want to search on file or folders. You then enter a file name or partial name to search with. For example, if you are looking for Excel spreadsheets, you would enter "*.xls" and then search. This will locate files with the .xls extention. You can double click on any of the found files.
