I just purchased a refurbished iBook G4 that runs OS X 10.4.10. I did not
receive the Tiger installation disks with it. I have downloaded OpenOffice
and tried to install it and was told that I needed to install X11. I
downloaded X11 from Apple's website, but when I tried to install it, was
told that a newer version was installed on my machine. X11User.pkg has been
downloaded. I cannot find anything resembling X11 in the Library Receipts
folder.
What do I do?

The X11 from Apple's website is for OS 10.3.xx. For OS 10.4.xx - Tiger
- you need the version that is on the Tiger installation disks as an
optional install. I would suggest contacting the dealer you purchased
your iBook from in order to get the installation disks. They should have
come with your machine.
