Hi David,

It is not exactly what you want but I added an code snippet to the Community Forum that allows you to copy an entire Record to the Insert Row ( Minus any auto_increment field ) - you could adjust this perhaps.

If you want to look at altering this to cache the data to memory and let you recall individual column data instead of the whole record at a time let me know.
