I will note that I am having the same problem. This has persisted for
the last several
versions of OOo, and Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4 and now 10.5. This is not a
printer issue,
as I have tried with different printers. I do not have this problem
when printing from
OOo on Windows XP.

Have you explicitly defined a print range?
Can you print multiple copies from other Calc files or from Writer?
Yes, print range is defined.
No, I can't get multiple copies from Writer, either.
