I also have another HP printer, the DeskJet 832C. I can get multiple print copies from other applications, bit I don't get multiple print copies on it from OO.o.

Anyone in OO.org listening?

Thanks.

I just tested OOo 2.3.1 from linux to an MP750 Canon printer via the
standard CUPS driver and was able to easily print multiple copies (5
pages of the same in this case).

I then tried from a Windows system using Windows OOo 2.3.1 connected
across my network, and again it printed multiple copies.

Perhaps you can find something here:

<http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=74518>

If that doesn't help, then search:

<http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/Search;jsessionid=1DCA445B7D1FCC40EC7A62008F244CD9?artifact=issuezilla+issue&query=multiple%20print&resultsPerPage=40&scope=domain>

The problem isn't with OO, but with HP. As much work as HP has put into
their drivers, there are problems with the Linux and MAC drivers that
often won't allow multiple copies.....like with my professional photo
printer, the Photosmart 8750. There are other problems as well.

NoOp's tip did it. You have to check Collate, even if the document has only one page.

Who would have thought?

The archive also talks about problems when printing multiple pages on a sheet, printing multiple copies with multiple pages on a sheet, duplex and other variations. I didn't try any of that.

It's hard to blame HP for this, because I can get multiple copies from email, Web browsers, and other word processing software with the recommended driver.

I believe OS X is an issue with OO.o but I don't know enough to find the point where they drop the baton.

Thanks again.

Harvey
