I assume you want to convert the files and not the program.  If you can
read that Excel spreadsheet, just use "Save as" to save in OpenOffice
format.  There is also a file conversion wizard to do the same thing. 
You can also get a plugin from Sun, that will enable Microsoft Office to
read & write ODF files.
