Hello, This is perfectly possible in OpenOffice.org. You can even refer to cells in a spreadsheet that's on the internet. The reference to the other document is in URL-form. Please read the Help (F1) inside the program (I haven't got the English version here, so it's difficult for me to give you the exact names). Must be something like Referencing to Cell in other Sheet or Document.
