I have not been able to do this in your program. Can your program accomplish this?

The simplest way to do this is probably to use Paste Special.

o  Select the cell or cells in the first file that you need to be transferred.
o  Copy the cells.
o Paste the contents into the second file, but use Edit | Paste Special... (or Ctrl+Shift+V) instead of normal Paste.
o  In the Paste Special dialogue, tick Link under Options.

You may want to look up the DDE function in the help text to see the detail of how this works.
